Our concern is for the safety of your children.
A salon floor is full of sharp tools, hot irons, and chemicals in use above head height. A few simple guidelines keep every young visitor safe while you relax.
A salon is not built for small children
Sharp implements, hot styling tools, chemicals, and a busy, congested floor combine to make any salon a hazardous place for a young child. Picture those same tools and chemicals in use directly above a child's head. No matter how careful our team is, accidents can and do happen.
Sharp tools and hot irons
Shears, razors, and flat irons are in constant motion at every station, often at a child's eye level. The service areas need to stay clear of anyone who is not in the chair.
Chemicals overhead
Color and treatment products are mixed and applied above head height all day long. A carrier, a stroller, or a child on a lap sits directly in that path.
A floor that stays moving
Stylists, guests, and carts move through the service areas without pause. Keeping that space uncrowded is how we keep it safe for everyone in it.

Five guidelines for young visitors
A short list, so your appointment stays the easy part of your day. We want every service at Maximum FX to be a relaxing, rejuvenating experience for you.
In the service areas
Only those receiving a service may be in the service areas, where the tools and chemicals are in use.
Carriers and strollers
Infants in carriers or strollers cannot be placed near the service areas or held in a lap during a service.
Bring supervision
When a young child comes with you, please arrange for a friend, your spouse, or an older child to watch them while you are in the chair.
Older children
Children old enough to sit quietly on their own are welcome to wait in the seating area.
Friends and family
To help reduce congestion in the service areas, we ask that anyone joining you wait comfortably in the seating area.
We are happy to help you plan
