It's time again to start asking "What is hot this fall?" The good news is many of the trends for fall 2013 are repeats from last year's trend report but with new styling or colors. A few new additions to the wardrobe will have your ready for fall in no time! Check out what models were sporting on the runways so you can be ready for the cooler days ahead!
Leather: The leather trend has been hot for a few years now so don't put the leather away yet! Look for pieces inspired by punk that have a rebellious edge. Leather skirts, jackets, and dresses are fun statement pieces and can be styled punky or classic. If you want something more sophisticated or softer look for classic pieces with fun leather details such as patches, collars or buttons.

Graphic Patterns: Nothing says notice me like a bold pattern. This fall look for dresses, skirts, and jackets in bold repetitive patterns. Look for a fun geometric pattern or something graphic. Feeling bold? Try a patterned pair of pants or instantly add flair to any outfit with a bold patterned jacket. Not quite ready to stand out in the crowd? Try a pop of pattern with a scarf.

Green: The Green movement has influenced the fashion industry this fall! Dark rich earth tones were all over the runway. Look for green tones in emerald, moss, and forest. The style mimics nature and has a rustic, earthy feel. Feeling daring? Mix and match several shades of green together.

Tuxedo: Men's wear has been in style for a few years now. Take the trend a little further by incorporating tuxedo inspired pieces into your outfit. Why not try trading in your little black dress for a little black tuxedo. Not only will the look still be classic and refined but it will also be unexpected. Not ready to wear a full on tux to your next black tie event? Add tuxedo pants or a tuxedo jacket to your favorite go to outfit.

Block Patterns: Along with the bold graphic patterns seen on the runway there was also a lot of color blocking. While color block was popular in the spring the fall trend incorporates more neutral tones in navy, black, camel, and white. Have a fashion fear of wearing black and navy? This is a fun way to incorporate two neutral shades that normally clash. Embrace the trend with a neutral color block coat or dress.

Natural Fabrics: Harper's Bazaar entitled this fall look American Pastoral. The trend channels a simpler time with basic knits, knee high leather boots, tweed, and wool. Fur trimmed sweaters and coats were also prevalent on the runway. Not into fur or leather? Try a synthetic alternative. These days many synthetic materials are just as luxurious and classy.

Gray: Another hot color this fall will be gray. Try this neutral in shades ranging from charcoal to slate. Is black your go to neutral shade? Gray can be a fun alternative to black or white basics. Incorporate a classic trouser or dress in this shade for the office. Gray can range from a nearly black charcoal to a light heather gray. Test out a few shades a find one that flatters your specific skin tone.
