Nighttime: scrub; morning: glow!

We all want our skin to glow and have that fresh look, but it really starts with your nighttime routine! I know, the last thing we want to before climbing into bed, is to spend any more time scrubbing off all of the make-up and grime from the day. Our moms drove us crazy growing up stressing the importance of brushing our teeth and taking off our make-up...all of that nagging made us want to rebel and just go to sleep. As much as we want to not agree, our mom was usually right! Leaving make-up on overnight can lead to breakouts caused by clogged pores and excess oil. Eye make-up that is left on can cause eye irritation and not to mention that awful raccoon eye effect that doesn't look good on anybody.

You will want to use a different cleanser from morning to night, I like to use a gentle cleanser in the morning and an exfoliating cleanser at night to help scrub away excess dirt and make-up.

Botanical Kinetics Gel Cleanser $21

Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser  $29

Next, you will want to use a toner in the morning after you cleanse because it helps balance the ph of your skin and preps the skin for the moisturizer.

Botanical Kinetics Toner $20

During the day, you will want to choose a light moisturizer. Make sure you add a sunscreen to your moisturizer if it does not already have SPF built in!

All Sensitive Moisturizer $33

Your evening routine can be a little more detailed so you can use an exfoliating cleanser, a pore refining serum (to help clarify, minimize pores, and help with the texture) then apply a heavier moisturizer.

Tourmaline Charged Radiance Fluid $43

Green Science Firming Face Creme $58

Eye cream is a must both am/pm, just be careful not to apply the eye cream to the lid if you plan to wear eye shadow, your eye shadow will fade due to the emollient consistency of the cream. Avoid getting to close to the eye to avoid irritation.

Green Science Firming Eye Creme $47

This may seem like a lot of steps, but you will definitely notice a change in your skin if you can get into a routine...give it a month and it will become part of your daily habit and your skin will thank you for it!
